We aim to offer a limited number of lower-cost therapy spaces to individuals who may be experiencing financial hardship. These options may be available through:
- Sliding scale therapy fees
- Reduced-fee clinician spots (when available)
- Student therapist or intern-supported services (if applicable)
- Group programming
Availability may vary depending on clinician capacity and current demand.
Who This May Be Helpful For
Pay-what-you-can therapy may be helpful for individuals who:
- Are experiencing financial stress or instability
- Do not have extended health benefits
- Are students or early in their careers
- Are balancing caregiving or family responsibilities
- Would otherwise delay or avoid seeking support due to cost
- Are transitioning between financial situations
Our Approach to Sliding Scale Care
We approach financial conversations with respect, dignity, and transparency. We understand that each person’s situation is unique, and we aim to work collaboratively to find an option that feels sustainable for both the client and the clinician.
Our goal is to reduce barriers while maintaining fairness and sustainability within the practice.
What to Expect
Clients accessing pay-what-you-can or reduced-fee therapy receive the same level of care, professionalism, and therapeutic support as all other clients.
Sessions may include support for:
- Anxiety and stress
- Depression and emotional overwhelm
- Trauma and life experiences
- Burnout and exhaustion
- Relationship challenges
- Grief and loss
- Life transitions and identity concerns
